NBSC BOT APPROVES PROGRAM EXPANSION AND GRADUATION REQUESTS IN Q2 SPECIAL MEETING
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) held its 2nd Quarter Special Board of Trustees (BOT) Meeting on May 26, 2026, via Zoom, addressing financial and academic matters for approval.
Under New Business, the Board took up routine financial matters tied to operations and compliance requirements. It also acted on academic-related requests covering the expansion of NBSC academic offerings and matters involving graduating candidates and recipients of Latin honors.
The proposed expansion was discussed in relation to strengthening and broadening the College’s offerings in response to evolving directions in higher education. This initiative supports the goal of expanding available degree pathways and improving access to fields of study that align with current and emerging disciplines.
The Board also considered matters related to graduating students and Latin honor recipients, ensuring formal recognition of those completing their respective requirements in line with institutional standards.
With these actions, NBSC continues to move forward with development initiatives while maintaining regular governance functions. The meeting reflects steady alignment between planning priorities, institutional direction, and student progession.
